I've used other brands but when it's time for replacement, I go back to "Fluidmaster" after experiencing issues with the competition (i.e. Slow refill and noisy). The "Fluidmaster" is easy to install and seems to hold up better.

Toilet valve replacement kit.
Would RecommendIt's a good replacement part. Once the valve and my tools were laid out in the bathroom, the job took 10 minutes including draining the toilet tank. Hope it lasts the 15+years the last one did. Do watch the water shutoff valve under the tank near the floor or wall....It may leak or may not turn the water off at all. In that case, you'll need a plumber's help.
