What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these pruners for razor-sharp blades that effortlessly cut branches up to 3/4 inch thick with clean, non-crushing cuts. The rotating handle mechanism is celebrated as a game-changer for reducing hand fatigue and improving comfort during extended use, particularly for those with arthritis. Most highlight the solid construction, reliable locking mechanism, and warranty as reassurance of long-term value. A few report blade dulling with thorny plants or note the rotating handle feels unnatural for left-handed users. Overall, reviewers consider these pruners a high-performance, durable tool worth the investment.

precise cuts
Would RecommendFiskars hasn't failed me yet. The clippers are easy to handle and cut small branches with little effort. For any branch that doesn't cut easily, grab a lopper.

Took some getting used to
Would RecommendThese are unlike any other pruners I have ever used. The gear advertised really does help cut through thicker branches, but the way it rolls to close took some getting used to. Now that I am used to I love it and got a pair for my mother-in-law and she loves the assist it gives her.

Broke first day of use
Would Not RecommendDo not buy this. Design flaw makes cutting surfaces spread apart and become useless. Plastic gears easily stripped. Absolutely useless
Work well
Would RecommendI bought these based on having had two previous pairs of Fiskars pruners that I liked. I particularly like the sliding lock feature on these. I must say though that yesterday while pruning roses, I had difficulty cutting through a cane that was probably close to 3/4" thick. Maybe I didn't have a good angle on it? Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Poorly Designed
Would Not RecommendI own several Fiskars products and found them well constructed and designed. I used these pruner for one day and found them so difficult and frustrating to use I returned them. The handle, the part that go under your 4 fingers rotate 90 degrees as you prune. Why I don't know. It adds nothing to the utility of the tool. Secondly, the pruners locks closed just with the vibration and motion of pruning. You have to stop what you're doing and flick the lock lever to open. Totally useless tool.
Not worth the money. They don’t cut very well at all. Also , be ready for a pinched thumb. They are really junk.
Junk
Would Not RecommendAfter about 5 minutes I had to start opening the jaws about 50 percent of the time. The handles catch and have to be pulled apart.
Lousy spring & handle too large for women
Would Not Recommend1. Spring is too weak, clippers won't automatically open after clipping something - even after cleaning & oiling them. 2. Handle is too big for an average size woman's hand.
Garbage
Would Not RecommendWe bought two different styles and I will review them both. They are truly garbage, very expensive garbage! They do not cut, they bend, and branches slide between the blades! The blades deform easily, and so cutting is impossible. They have plastic gears which has neither power nor resiliency. Don't waste your money as we did!
