The outer serrated blade edge was dull. The small tipped shears are great for pruning in narrow places. They are Fiskars and they usually have great affordable garden tools.
Awesome tool!
I have had these shears going on 3 years now and have no complaints, we use them anywhere from pruning rose's to clipping dove wings. Just keep them clean and sharp and a little oil.

They don’t stay sharp
Would RecommendI have to sharpen them after using them to deadhead. I really like the serrated edge; I use that to prepare plants before putting them in the ground. It’s a good product but it would be nice if they stayed sharp.

Blade breaks
Would Not RecommendAs stated in so many other reviews, they were quite nice until the blade broke while snipping a rose head off. Nothing extreme or woody. Just a dead head. Blade appears to have broken off in the same place in all the pictures.

Would Not RecommendThis tool would be great, and I've had 3 of them, but, there's an orange plastic piece that has broken on every single pair I've gotten. This orange piece is what keeps the tool locked closed. If they only made this out of metal, to make the tool last a lifetime, I would give this 5 stars.
