Steel seems weak.
Would Not RecommendThey do the job but the blade edge already started deforming after 1 day of moderate-heavy use. The deformation didn’t impede cutting ability yet, but long term durability is questionable. Will definitely need frequent sharpening.

bad buy!
This item is a very poor design! The cutting jaw all too often will eject the stock it is supposed to cut; it only cuts best when the jaw is at a 90-degree approach to the stock to be cut. It is also noticeably heavier than my other pruner of a similar size. I would not recommend this item to anyone and would, in fact, caution prospective buyers to avoid this purchase. My recommendation is to scrap this item; remove the inventory and surplus it out to a "distressed goods" retailer.
