Don’t Buy
Would Not RecommendI purchased based on the brand, lightweight and price. I maybe did 5 clips on very petite stems and the blades would not shut. There was a spur of metal along the one blade that prevented them from shutting. I am assuming the opposite blade had somehow collided and caused the spur on the opposite blade. They would not close so I could no longer use them. I returned them to Lowe’s and they very willingly processed my money back which I appreciated. These shears are very defective.

Poor Quality - Terrible customer service
Would Not RecommendThe hedge shear handle broke off after the second time being used. Lowes did not honor the "lifetime" product warranty listed on the Lowes website. Lowes customer service did provide a telephone number for the manufacturer customer service, but no one answers the line. Follow-up with Lowes I was basically told to pound sand. If Lowes is not going to stand behind their products, they should stop offering "lifetime" warranties.

Would RecommendThese are the best, sharpest hedge shears I've used. They're great at so much more than hedges. Great for fall cleanup: clumps of day lilies, zinnias, even peony stems. Makes work SO much easier and faster.

Not suitable for small shrubs
Would Not RecommendBlades are sharp but soft. When attempting to power through a few pieces of shrub by scissoring fast, the trimmers "locked" before closing through. I initially thought a piece of wire was hiding, but upon closer investigation, I realized one of the blades cut into the other one.
The hedger works but rubber over handle comes off
I like the hedger and it works well but the rubber on the handle is a problem
