I replaced my current unit because the green steady light indicator of hard wired unit “comes alive at night” and moves in random fashion as if it is searching the room. My old unit did the exact same routine and when I replaced it with a new unit, it does the exact same thing. What causes this? It is unnerving to say tge least! Thank you!

Would RecommendSimple Combo Wired Smoke/CO alarm I like that First Alert includes a 9V Copper Top Duracell the same batteries that I would install! I also like the simplicity of just an Alarm long beeps for smoke and short beeps for gas! Been living for years with Kiddie/Firex that have voice alarm Fire Fire Fire!
