False Alarms on Multiple First Alert Models
Would Not RecommendDo not buy. This and other First Alert models have repeatedly false alarmed. I have spent way too many hours installing, replacing, on the phone with Resideo support (the manufacturer and support org). I bought 5 in 12/25 and by March, 3 of the 5 (60%) false alarmed in the middle of this night. Resideo has sent me replacements and 2 of them have false alarmed within a week. So, I bought a First Alert SN210V Smoke only alarm as a replacement and it too false alarmed within 2 days. I am done ...
