Great and comes with adapter plugs

Great unit & super easy to install. This comes with both Kidde and Firex adapter plugs so didn't even have to do any wiring. The same exact model sold under the BRK brand (also owned by First Alert) do not come with the adapters.

Better than I thought they'd be

These come with a multi-prong connection to interface with any existing hardwire smoke alarm circuit. I thought I was going to have to strip wires and wire the new ones in but was surprised to see they have included adapters.

Replaced a 20 year old hard wired smoke detector

It was easy to install. The new unit came with several different options to match with a previously installed hard wired model. I was able to find the right connector and hook it up no problem. The installation took at most 10 minutes.

They were super easy to screw in to my old receptacles. They came with a variety of adapters so I didnt have to rewire anything! Plus! Plus! No battery replacement for 10 years!
