Great Product for Hard Water

Have used this product for many years and every time the dishwasher smells and looks fantastic inside. We have extreme hard water and using this product monthly helps save our dishwasher from expensive repair bills. Cuts the grease and hard water built up.

Did not work

Tried three times and the wax plug stayed intact. Do not recommend

Wax plug doesn’t melt

I used exactly as directed. Wax plug did not melt. Based on other reviews it seems this is a common issue with this product.

I will never use this product again.

Unlike others, the wax cap melted. Like others, I'm into the third wash trying to get the cleaning residue out of my dishwasher. Unfortunately, I expect at least 3 or 4 more washes before I feel it is safe to put my dishes and tableware in the dishwasher again. This was my first experience with a Finish product. I will NEVER use this or any other Finish product again

Not reliable

I've used this a couple times and each time the wax didn't release the liquid after a full wash cycle. I put on another cycle to try again and half way through I checked the wax and still nothing, so I poked a whole in one of the sections to release the cleaner, and figured the rest of the wax would melt. It works except for the strong scent.

Product was good and it did clean the dishwasher. Only one issue and that was the fragrance it left in the dishwasher. It would be great if they you could make a product that doesn't have any fragrance. There are many people that can not be exposed to the strong scents because it affects our health. I used this product several weeks ago and it still has that strong fragrance in it. If that doesn't bother you then get it because it does work. Unfortunately, I can't...

No Toxic Smell At All

For those that claim that there is a “toxic” smell upon completion of use of this product…You’re nuts! You’re simply smelling your own filth and lack of hygiene in the kitchen. This product works ok, not great, but does a decent job for the money. Cascade is a MUCH BETTER product than Finish. Always has been and always will be.

WASTED MONEY WASTED WATER

Followed instructions to clean my dishwasher to the T! Low and behold the bottle was still full of liquid!!! So end result was WASTED MONEY AND WASTED WATER! This product needs zero stars NOT WORTH THE WAIT TIME AND NOT WORTH THE WATER! Looks like I'll be spending the next couple of hours cleaning my dishwasher with a scrub brush! THANKS FINISH FOR NOT FINISHING THE JOB YOU GUARANTEED!

Great cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Finish Dishwasher Cleaner did exactly as it was supposed to. It made my dishwasher smell much better than before. It was super easy to use. You only have to peel back the sticker and place upside down on the bottom rack. I didn't have any problem at all with the wax melting in order for the product to come out during the hot cycle.
