Restricted Air Flow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why is there so much cardboard restricting the airflow? I remove all crisscrossed cardboard from the middle of both sides and they work fine with better airflow.

These are your basic filters. The advantage is that it is a 3 pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this filter two weeks ago and have seen a definite improvement over the better rated ones, seems like my a/c has shorter run cycles and my house is as cool as before. I will use this level of filter from now on. Also the last two weeks we have had record setting temperatures almost each day.

Perfect for high-efficiency A/C systems

This is the recommended product to use in the new high-efficiency A/C systems. They provide the minimum restriction to the flow of air through the air handler. Only drawback is they must be changed monthly. But, they are much cheaper than the long-lasting filters. Bottom line is positive - higher A/C system efficiency at a lower cost.

Good filters - people need to stop second guessing

Great filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 pets and an old air system, so I have to change my filters quite a bit to keep from dust build up. Every time I change my filter I am so pleased with the amount of dust and dander the filter has collected and locked in. The air flow is quite, can’t hear it flowing through the filter. I am pleased with these filters.

air flow indicator incorrect

Like many of the other reviewers, I am puzzled that the arrow indicating how to install filter, results in an installation with the metal supports on the air intake side, rather than being closest to the blower. Is this an engineering error and what is the rational for designing it this way.

No Complaints

Filter fits correctly. Easy to install. A/C has not overheated since using these filters. It recommends changing every 90 days, but we do so between every 30 and 90, just to be sure.

Searched for these filters everywhere, the only place I could find them was Lowe's. GREAT, and they were a great price.

Bout these for my house when I first moved in... replacement only product... they do that good!
