I have used this product on decks, walkways and constructing small buildings, they as fast, strong and the thread profile has excellent holding power far superior to even larger lag bolts. The large low profile head need no washer and has an attractive appearance. The "spider drive" is like an 8 lobed Torx, and I have used hundreds without stripping a one. Would RecommendI had to attach 2 x4 4 ft piece to attic joist for exhaust fan housing. Initially in dark attic I tried to find spider drive bit and could not. Tried my own impact driver bits and none of them worked even after pre drilling a hole. Then I found the bit and it worked like a charm.
