Great outdoor screws

I used these screws for an outdoor pergola that I built. Had no screw strip out great bit.

Pure garbage

These are the weakest head fasteners I have ever used. The box even shows a driver pushing them in. When I tried them with a small Ryobi driver, they stripped out. There is no bit in the box so I used one I had that fit the whole and even after drilling pilot holes (which should not be necessary) they could not drive through soft pine 2x4's. These are complete garbage. I'd take them back, but my store's customer service is so slow it would cost me more in time than they are worth. SAVE YOU...

Finishing Touch for Outdoor Wedding Seats

We have an old house/stained glass barn wedding venue. Until recently, we used long oak church pews for our outdoor seats. Due to the weight of these oak pews, we had to pay people to help us move them outside for the event. My go to fastener

These are awesome. The convenience of a deck screw with the strength of a lag bolt. No need for a washer either.

Always keep these on hand. No pre-drilling. Replace lag bolts. GREAT fasteners!!

Strong Screw

I actually used these to hang shutters. The large head and guaranteed weather coating made them an attractive choice to use instead of the cheap screws that came with the shutters. So far so good.

Wish The Threads

Would be better if the threads went the whole length of the shaft, as it is there is ripout if the boards are misaligned. There are more threads on a lag screw the same length.

I love these screws. great holding power. only downside is the last few boxes I bought only had 48 screws in them and as expensive as they are it should have the whole 50. plus no drill bit comes in the larger boxes.
