Great Little Fan

We needed a fan for a small space, a breakfast nook, and this fit the bill perfectly. It has the same modern styling as our Fanimation Slinger in the adjacent great room and provides just the right amount of air circulation in the small nook space. It’s a winner!

Terrible product,

The light went out 6 mos ago and we cannot figure out how to replace it. Reading every other review fixing the light is worthless. The fan is great, the light was the sole light in the room. Now we will have to hire another electrician to trade it out for something that works

Simple and efficient

We installed the fan in our master bedroom. It is aesthetically pleasing and efficient, it really moves the air.

Installed last week

Great product. Excellent appearance and performance. Only difficulty was getting the Remote Receiver box and wiring to all fit in the space provided in the fan ceiling cover and junction box. Hard to keep wires connected while maneuvering the box into a very crowded space. Heard other folks complain about the very same thing.

Hesitant but took the plunge and bought......

No regrets! We bought this fan and then read the reviews when we got home. We debated whether to return it immediately or take a chance. Having never installed a ceiling fan in our lives my husband and I decided to give it a try because most bad reviews were older and more recent reviews were positive. Worst case scenario we dismantle and take it back.... It’s up and WE LOVE IT!!! I have a 500 sq. ft. great room and we have the fan more toward the kitchen area. Nice looking fan but light burnt out immediately!

Just installed this fan and while it looks nice, the LED light fizzled and burnt out almost immediately. I contacted the company to see if it can be replaced, but the light kit doesn’t appear to be available seperstely, so if it can’t there’s now a huge piece of junk hanging from my ceiling!

Doesn’t work after only three months

The remote stopped working the light and is unresponsive 90% of the time with the fan speed control, the light worked fine and all of a sudden is super dim and the controls on the remote are even working backwards. Picture shows max brightness...terrible!

Modern and Does the Job

I recently installed new grey wood floors and this fan looks great with them. Several people commented on it...who notices fans? People with good taste!

Perfect Fan!

I absolutely love this fan. Very clean looking, perfect for a master bedroom. The remote control is a bonus!

Very happy

We're in the middle of a 'modern' remodel and we immediately knew this was the fan for us when we saw it. The installation was a breeze (pun intended) and gives plenty of air in our 400sq ft family room and the led is plenty bright. We couldn't be happier with this fan!

LED module stop working

It seems this product has a problem with the LED module. I bough one and after few weeks only 1/3 of the LEDs worked. I returned the unit and I got a new one. This second unit experienced the same problem in few weeks.

Awesome fan and customer service!

After 9 months the light burnt out so thinking it was a bulb I took the globe off and found it was a LED. We called Fanimation and the rep was very helpful and immediately sent out a replacement. We love this fan!

Bad Light

This light was only about 6 months old when the LED light stopped working. I opened it up to find that a diode or something on the PCB to have exploded. The glass/plastic was burnt. Kinda scary and the only place I find any mention of a replacement part is here where there are a ton of people having the same problem.

Loud hum not tolerable

I had no trouble assembling or installing this Pylon fan, but it made a rather loud 60 Hertz hum. After Fanimation sent a second fan and it also had the same hum, I determined that the hum from the fan itself was not very loud and might be tolerable, but when hung the hum was transmitted to the 12'x12' ceiling, which acted as a sounding board and magnified the hum greatly. Light Kit Issue

Great fan and appeal; however, there was an issue with the LED lighting that has been resolved. I installed three fans and all the lights pooped and burned out within two days. If you call customer service they will gladly send you the new light kits free of charge. Overall, I like the appeal, great fan and when the light works it generates great lighting! Don't give up....do your research because this is a really nice fan/light. Great customer support and response time.

So far ok-ish

So.... I loved the looks of this fan and one more fanimation fan. I went ahead and purchases the two fans. Came home and I started to read the reviews after my purchase. Oh boy. I decided to keep them and i installed them. So far ok. It is less then a month. One works perfectly so far. But Second one i need to press the remote sometimes 6 times before it lights up/shut off. Also my biggest issue so far are the remote controls. The design is so poor that it does not close the "lid" on the batter...

Looks beautiful and works great!

Really love this ceiling fan and light. The light is not the same quality as the incandescent light fixture we had previously but it is still somewhat warm in color. Did not have to use the balance weights, since it hung very straight and even at maximum speed it doesn't wobble at all. Very quiet fan. Love that the remote has separate up and down arrows for the adjusting the lighting. Another brand fan we have in another room you have to wait and cycle through the increase-decrease in light...
