Almost zero tear out on table saw.

I used this melamine to make custom shelves. What I'm most impressed with is the cleanliness of the table saw, band saw, and flush trim router cuts. There was almost zero tear out. I used an 80 tooth Dewalt blade on my Dewalt 8 1/4" table saw and taped every cut. Similarly, the melamine cut clean on the band saw. After making a template, I used a Ryobi hand held router and a flush trim bit to match the template. Again, almost zero tear out. I was only trimming about 1/16th of an inch but ...

This arrived damaged. I asked for a refund or some money back. $5 was offered. If I return it, I don't get the shipping fee returned and if I order another, I assume I would be charged shipping once again. I am done with Lowe's.

Sturdy shelving used for pantry

This was a great affordable shelf to transform my coat closet into a pantry. I used 5 of these with a bracket. They are deep enough to actually give you storage while also being able to hold the weight of heavy items. I was considering wire shelving thinking it would be cheaper but this was more affordable and looks more finished and high end

Not Perfect But Usable

While this will work for my purposes, I was dismayed to see that all 4 sides were just bare press-board. I’m used to the edges being finished. No problems as adding my own edging went well. However, the melamine is chipped all around the edges on both sides. Neither side of the two boards I bought has a “good” side. For the price, I can overlook it, but I’d really like to have a nice smooth surface without having to find actual lumber in this size. I also found it odd that it was only .65-...

The product arrived damaged, and frankly, I’m appalled by the lack of care in packaging. The shelf was entirely unprotected, making it inevitable that it would be battered during shipping—likely tossed around the back of a trailer for over a thousand miles. This reflects a serious oversight in quality control and a disregard for customer experience. Ordered Qty 3, received two that were 3/4" thick with melamine covered edges and one 0.6" thick with bare edges!!! Went to return the one a discovered that 'new stock' is 0.6" thick with vare edges...
