Would RecommendThe FLEX Oscillating multi-tool appears to be a quality tool. The battery charges fairly fast. I do not have experience with other oscillating tools but the charge does not last all that long. The tool is well balanced and easy to use with the ability to place the blade in a variety of positions. The tool’s length, like most oscillating tools, prevents its use in some confined spaces. I found the blades included with the tool to dull fairly quickly.

Would RecommendThis thing is awesome. Vibration is very manageable, the star-lock detent is very positive and locks quickly (keep your knuckles out of the way though FYI). The switch is easy to reach and activate with both hands. I was very impressed with the performance of this tool with a standard battery and it only lost 1 bar after consistent use for a few hours.

Would RecommendSince I already had a highly rated oscillating tool from another manufacturer I wasn't looking to buy a second until I saw that the Flex was on sale and it uses Starlock, which my other doesn't. To my surprise, the Flex oscillating tool is slimmer and lighter weight than my other tool, which makes it easier for me to make more accurate cuts. The Flex is my new favorite and the only negative is the more expensive replacement blades.
