Would RecommendThis jigsaw is smooth. I used a Bosch blade and cut treated 2x6. I tried in auto mode, no orbital action and there was very little vibration but a little slow. I took the auto setting off and cut at the highest level and it went through the 2x6 no issues. I used a 2.5a battery and it appeared to have all the power needed.

Would RecommendThis saw cuts very fast and is effective for cutting material. The downside to this jigsaw are the adjustment for the bevel cut. You have to use a wrench to loosen the base plate to move it. The saw is also very large and has more weight to it than others in its class. The lighting is nice as well as the included attachment for dust extraction and the chip shield. The tool is built very well and it feels it will last a long time. The ergonomic handle is also very nice.
