Would RecommendUsed as an undercoat to vinyl tile. Put on cement board and it gave a very good coat that stuck well and gave smooth surface for tile application. Pleased withits use on old oxidized vinyl shutters. Cleaned them and one coat them one top coat of Duramax.

Would RecommendWe are happy with this primer. Rolled on nicely on new cedar siding front and back before instaliing on house. Cedar sucks up paint. We got 200 sq feet of coverage with a gallon of this primer on unpainted cedar siding.

Would RecommendI used this product during a long-term porch project this past summer in which I pulled up old, rotting porch carpet, scraped off the remaining glue, washed with muriatic acid (Jasco brand, also from Lowe's), sanded the surface, allowed drying time, and then applied the primer. Once the surface was smooth and proper precautions were taken, as directed by the label, this Valspar primer/sealer went on perfectly.
