DONT REVERSE POLARITY
Would RecommendThe two prongs can reverse polarity if you do not check after installation. Threaded base for light bulb should be the neutral and center tab should be the hot . If you put adapter on wrong position it will make the threaded portion hot, and center tab neutral. Check with a multimeter after you install adapter. Would RecommendWhen one of my outdoor security lights burned out I was surprised when I remove the bulb and found it was the new two pin configuration. I went to Lowe’s to try to find a replacement and was directed to the adapter. I purchased the adapter installed it and then simply screwed in a regular lightbulb saving myself The difference in price between a simple screw in bulb in the very expensive two pin bulb.
