When I scanned the QR code on the side of the outlet, it immediately started the process of adding it to my Apple Home app. I had no issues connecting it, and it worked right away. I’m excited to use it to turn my Christmas tree on and off this year!

The setup information gets lost

I have three of these. Twice now when the app has lost the device and program information. The first time it happened when I was at home, so it wasn't a huge deal. I just had to re-sync all three devices and reprogram the timers. Today it lost the device and programming information again, but this time I am away for the winter and and I can't re-sync it remotely. So now I am without timers until I get back home. Great device

Bought this to use for Christmas lights so I could setup a schedule for them to come on automatically each day . This device worked great since I could control the settings from my phone with the app.
