What Customers Are Saying
The porcelain ceiling light fixture has a mixed reception. Many found it easy to install and appreciated the quality of the porcelain construction. It was considered a reasonably priced, good utility light for use in areas like the garage or closet. Porcelain pull light socket.
Would RecommendWorked great.
Beware of routing ground wire to avoid shorts.
Functionally, works fine. On backside of the fixture are all of the exposed conductors (hot, neutral, ground) for the side socket. When attaching the ground wire to the ground conductor, the bare wire could easily contact the hot/neutral socket conductors when folded into the box behind the fixture when attaching the fixture to the box, potentially shorting out the fixture. Consider electrical tape to prevent shorts.

Would Not RecommendInstalled in a 3-1/2 box and had to reak out the porcelain stamped spaces for installing screws to mount to base. Price for cheap Chinese junk. Not sure how safe it is
Would Not RecommendConcerned about construction. 3 prong plug is not stable in outlet and I'm not sure the ground connection is constant.

Lightbulb draw string is a fire hazard
Would RecommendThe porcelain fixture appears to be okay, we haven’t used it yet. But removed the draw string that is attached to the light switch because it it hangs right up against the light bulb.
