What Customers Are Saying
The porcelain ceiling light fixture has a mixed reception. Many found it easy to install and appreciated the quality of the porcelain construction. It was considered a reasonably priced, good utility light for use in areas like the garage or closet. However, some customers experienced issues such as the porcelain breaking during installation, flimsy internal connections, and problems with the pull chain mechanism. A few also expressed safety concerns. The reviews suggest the product's quality and durability may be inconsistent.

Would Not RecommendThese are the worst quality lamp fixtures I have ever worked with. I'm not kidding. I bought 5 of them thinking Eaton is a good quality brand (they do make the best circuit breakers). Boy, was I wrong. These are a mess. At least 3 were broken / cracked right out of the bag. The others failed upon installation. The outlets won't even hold a plug in them - plug an item into the socket and it falls out. I am returning all of these pieces of excrement and will buy Leviton fixtures instead. I g...
no very sturdy
Would Not Recommendseems flimsy and feel like the pull chain will break again in a short time
Fire Danger
Would Not RecommendVery frustrating when you finish a new workbench, you take a look and think, nice job, you pull your chainswitch and the chain breaks inside the ceramic light. Tearing it apart to determine what happened it was evident that the pull chain is no longer made of a very reliable material and will easily break leaving the short chain dangling inside the light risking a short. It was such an let down after feeling good about something only to have faulty parts fail as i stood there with a string and a...
Bad engineering
Would Not RecommendHas knock outs for smaller electrical boxes but when you try to knock them out it completely breaks. I called customer service at manufacturer ans they said try a small screw driver on hard surface. Well it still broke on other side as well now its garbage. I have done knock outs before on things and never had a problem.

Closet light install with old work box.
Would RecommendI installed a closet light by punching through the wall next to an existing outlet. I used this old work box to support the cable hider box on the inside of the closet wall, running power from there through the wall between studs and back to the box. From there, I ran the power inside the cable channel up the inside of the closet wall and across the ceiling to another shallow cable hider box with the light fixture attached. Worked great and looks great! I did use screws in addition to the ta...
