What Customers Are Saying
The porcelain light sockets are generally well-made and durable, able to withstand high heat better than plastic alternatives. Many find them easy to install and a good quality replacement. However, some customers reported issues with the sockets cracking or feeling weak, requiring careful handling. Overall, the sockets seem to offer good value and effective performance for most users.

Would RecommendAnnoying they have the second set of openings for a non standard housing. These would have to be drilled out to be used, trying to punch them out with a punch would likely break the entire socket. There might be one person in a billion that would use that configuration, so it would be better if it were not included in the design.

Teeny weeny terminals
Would Not RecommendThe terminals for wire connections have teeny weeny screws with teeny weeny heads. That alone makes it difficult to grip the wire, but there are also no tabs on the plate to restrain the wire. Makes the job harder and take longer than if you buy sockets with professional grade terminals.
Heavy duty, well built.

Good quality.
Would RecommendJust what I needed.
Sturdy
Would RecommendVery well made and stylish
Very fragile
Would Not RecommendBought three of these to install in my barn , needed to use the inner screw slot which requires removing the porcelain plug. Placed it on a flat surface and carefully tried to remove the plug. The entire side of the fixture broke off. The material is too thick IMO to knock out the plug. Used a carbide bit to carefully remove the plugs on the other two units. Lowe's is 45 mins from me not worth returning the other one for 3.28 cost. I JB welded the broken one back together and used it ( it's just...
