Excellent In expensive 50 amp RV Receptacle/Box
Would RecommendI installed two of these boxes for RV use, one at my RV Parking Port for my Monaco coach and one at the rear of my property for guest parking. My electrician had these installed in no time and the only thing he had to change was the orientation of the 50 amp receptacle to accommodate the RV plug.
Too small for wire routing/attachment
Would Not RecommendGreat price and well-made box, but positioning #6 wires around the receptacle was extremely difficult since faceplate must be slid in at an angle and wires are in the way even with a neat spiral "twist" technique. Would not buy this box again and would opt for something having more space for the rather large, stiff minimum #6 size wires typically used for 50A service this box was made to deliver. If you must, be sure to use with wire having many strands and maximum flexability or you will regret...
