Would RecommendThe nomenclature is strange: a “four-way” switch allows three switches in the same lighting circuit. The terminals on this switch were differently arranged from the old switch, so the wires occupied different physical positions. So the installer must understand the circuitry, not just put the wires in the same positions. And why should it be so expensive?

I also was walking to close to the wall one day and slid into one of the other switches that stick out and really got a big bruise. no worrying about that now.
