What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this tiller for its exceptional power and reliability in demanding soil conditions. Most highlight the engine's raw strength in breaking sod, handling clay and compacted earth, and tackling rocky ground without stalling. Reviewers consistently note reliable starting—often first or second pull—and intuitive controls that make operation straightforward. Many appreciate the balanced weight, offering sufficient traction while remaining manageable. Customers call it a solid, durable unit with simple construction and strong build quality. A few mention minor design frustrations like the lack of neutral gear or cable routing issues, but these concerns are far outweighed by overall satisfaction and strong recommendations.

Victory Tiller

GREAT value and does the job! Putting the side shields required loosening other bolts which is not explained anywhere in the directions. Wish you could engage wheels to move without tiller tines engaging. But 100% satisfied with price/performance

Nothing But Problems!

Would Not Recommend

This Tiller has been nothing but problems for me. I purchased this tiller in April of 2023 and so far I have had two broken springs and a broken belt. Now, after the unit is down again, I am told the pullies must be out of alignment and it is MY responsibility to take it to a service center 35 miles from my home. All of this during the height of gardening season. This Tiller has been out of service much more that it has been used, I would highly recommend that you look at other brands, as I am ...

Metal in Oil

Would Recommend

Tiller does a good job and I've had several tillers. Now the bad part, my first oil change even before the recommended interval there was metal in the oil upon draining and the oil was dirty beyond belief. I've had many small engine tillers and never have experienced this before. The second oil change was better but what damage has been done? I am unrelenting about the oil type and levels in engines.

Solid reliable unit (excluding tine cover)

Bought the tiller this spring and used it on an about 1200 sq ft plot First thing I noticed is the rear cover over the spindle tines is very flimsy. Hit the first inevitable rock and it came flying out after torquing the whole cover way out of whack. Kept going and the second rock did the same, only this time it busted the weld point where the cover held to the rear high adjuster pole slide. Granted hitting rocks is not ideal, but it is inevitable when turning most soils in the USA, so this ...

Transmission leak

The transmission is leaking oil after only 4 hours of use. Very disappointing.

Almost Perfect

Would Recommend

The tiller does a great job. It starts easy and the reverse lever is super handy. The tiller is geared a little too fast for me and l'd like it to have a neutral so it would free wheel instead of moving the tires manually and repositioning the cotter pin.

Rear tine tiller food plot installation

Would Recommend

Bought this to install food plots on property with lots of rocks in soil. Plenty of power, stalled engine several times when rocks got into tines and belt slipped. Restarted and put in reverse and cleared the jam easily. Tilled 4500 sq ft in 2 hours that was sod covered at start. Only thing I don't like is pulling pins to slide tires in to disengage drive so you can push it. Easy when it is new, more difficult when axles have dirt and grass on them.

Good choice/value.

Would Recommend

Good purchase. Machine is a beast that works very well. Had issue with drive cable hook end breaking. Also broke a belt. Tine cover could be better reinforced. Overall for the price, is a great machine. Very satisfied.
