Heavy, powerful, but works
Safety switch on the trigger catches my mitt/glove, so I have to use it without gloves or be careful or else it'll tear a hole in my mitts. It's confusing that a PH1400 exists along side this. Otherwise though it seems to work as described. Kind of heavy so I'll have to setup the shoulder strap.

Good idea bad execution
The concept is great but it’s not consistent. Compared to the snow blowers I’ve purchased from ego which work great, the multi tool trigger does not always activate. It’s like a game and when it goes it’s excellent. But most of the time I’m gripping trying to make the gears turn. Hopefully the next model will be better.

Great when you need more than one tool
Would RecommendI like the fact that with this Ego tool you don't need to purchase standalone dedicated tools like a string trimmer or edger. I have an Ego string trimmer attachment and a brush cutter attachment for this tool. I plan to add more attachments in the future and that helps to minimize the cost of buying extra tools. I like the fact that the motor for the tool is in the handle and not in the attachments. I think that minimizes the chance of motor damage and helps to keep the motor clean. Changin...
