Fast charging as described. Twice as fast as the standard dual charger. Nice to have if you are in a pinch for time. I bought to for use with my snowblower batteries. I almost used it when we received 8 inches of snow. Turns out my two sets of 7.5 amp batteries did d the job. Without needing a fast charge to complete the snow removal.

CH7000 Is Essential for Optimal Performance
Would RecommendWe bought this to replace the original unit that came with the Ego LM2156SP mower. A downed electrical service wire had caused a surge that damaged appliances in my son's home. The EGO chargers were plugged in at the time. One was obviously damaged and stopped working altogther. The CH7000 appeared to be functioning but it was taking several hours to charge the 10 Amp hour battery to capacity. This new unit has the battery back to charging in about an hour as expected. Would RecommendI have only mowed once so far. The battery was not completely charged and the learning curve kept me having to restart. Therefore, it depleted quickly. It charged fully within 90 minutes and I was able to mow (with less errors on my part) and barely used any 'juice.'
