Awesome product!

I recently bought a new home with hardwood floors. I always thought the Dyson handheld vacuums would work well on such floors. I’m so glad I chose to purchase one because it is absolutely fantastic!

Wouldn’t buy again.

Battery is a weak point. Never lasted long; the vacuum was cared for and rarely used. Always charged properly. They’ll tell you to replace the battery. Guess what ? They don’t have any.

Will never buy dyeing again

3 family members and I bought this model and hate it. It worked for less than a year. Does after 3 min of use ever since for all of us. Filter and bin are clear so that’s not the issue. Save your money buy something better that would be a fraction of the cost anyway.

Great Until the battery Quits

This machine worked great until the battery lost its charge and then died. The replacement cost and trouble to replace the battery is absurd. The machine has been well cared for and cleaned. There are no dirty filters or blockages. I am a contractor with multiple battery operated tools, Dyson should take a look at the multiple successful, inter interchangeable, quick charge, long lasting batteries. Doesn't last long

Only lasted 10 minutes to use after charging it all day. Don't waste your money. There are other brands that works better with competitive pricing.

Stopped working within a year…

The faster mode stopped working then draining the charge within seconds… now the lower setting that still works keeps pulsing in and off and I e cleaned the filter as recommended I payed so much for this vacuum and I feel short changed after a year!! N n

Worked For About A Year

I used this vacuum for about a year. It started to “pulse” during use then it just pulsed about 5 times and shut off. Now that’s all it does, run, stop, run, stop, it’s useless. It’s been hanging up for about a year now and I haven’t been able to use it. Very disappointed because it was a gift.

Bade product and service

Only two years since I purchased this unit and the battery need to be replace.

Poor suction on this model

I purchased this model about 10 months ago for cleaning on my boat. I had an earlier model, V3 I believe, it was yellow and did a great job - plenty of battery life and suction was fantastic. I figured I'd upgrade to this model after it was getting pretty dirty. I agree with the other reviews that it really is only useful under the Max mode which unfortunately only lasts for about 5 minutes. I also noted that the Max mode was about what my version 3 did all the time - not sure what happened...

Disappointed with the batter life

I’m in a 1bd apt, and I’m a lazy person.. I vacuum once or twice every 3 weeks.. The battery dies after 1year 4months of use..

Stopped charging less than 18months old.

For the money they charge, this is not worth it. It was great while it lasted but one would expect it to last longer than 1 1/2 years and i hardly used it because i live in a tiny apartment and have a cleaner who brings her own vacuum!!! Not good enough Dyson. You cant sell a product at such an over inflated price if the product doesn’t last.

Broke down after 20 uses in less than a year

Apparently a refurbished product comes with an old battery a mine stopped working in less than a year

Great while it lasted.

Pretty hefty investment for 2 years worth of use. My vacuums battery died at 27 months, must be why they offer a 24 month warranty.

Works well except short battery life

Works well except short battery life, After the warranty was up the vacuum will run one or two minutes and shut off you have to plug it back in and wait for the blue light and then you can use it again for about five minutes for the amount of money you pay for the vacuum it is a disappointment would not buy it again

Solve that battery problem

My first few times with my Dyson resulted in the same issue with the battery...until I realized that I was running it on MAX. Once I switched to High Suction there was never a problem again. I am on the Dyson site now to find a vacuum to give as a gift. I am very impressed with job this vaccum does and the ease of using it .

Total waste of money

Never ran more than 5 minutes on a full charge one year in won't charge/run at all.

Disappointed

I have purchased a couple of these vacuums and like everyone else has said they don’t last long at all. Very disappointed that it has happened yet again.
