Overall Great Vacuum!

I have had my Dyson for one month now and, for the most part, am really pleased with its performance. There are a few things I would change if I could. The vacuum is quite heavy and my arms really get a workout so I wish I had a lighter version. The button you push to turn it on should stay on until you push it to release. A trigger lock would make it much easier and not tire your hand out as quickly. The cleaner head is pretty big so I am not able to get under things as well as my previous...

Disappointed

Worked great for a first four months, then the rollerblade quit working and the filter smells like the dog. Dyson is always out of replacement parts. So now have a tool I can’t use. Waste of money.

Obsessed with it

I’ve had it for a couple of months and used it to clean our 2600sqft house with ease. I was worried it would feel heavy or that I’d get tired of hold the trigger but neither of those are issues. Perfect for Dog Hair Pick-up

The laser is excellent for seeing dog hair that you normally would not in regular light or daylight. Unfortunately, I am not over-the-moon with the docking station. I find myself having to detach the body and only store the battery in it. This means I need to find another location for the body. The docking station on the V10 Absolute is much more functional and allows more tools to be stored. I would have preferred this type but unfortunately the sizes do not allow me to interchange them

LOVE this thing!

I know Dyson products are pricey, but it's because they are worth every penny. And they just get better and better, so do yourself a favor and save up the money to invest in one. The bare floor attachment with the laser light is amazing, but the variety of other tools is also great. This model has all the advantages of an upright or canister vacuum with the lightness and versatility of a stick vacuum. I can't recommend this vacuum enough!

Not as great as I expected

Heavier than anticipated, the smart sensor does not work well, but still great suction and decent battery life. So I don't regret buying, but I'd get a different model next time.

Another great Dyson product

This is our 4th Dyson - third cordless. We downsized our home last summer and upsized our Dyson cordless that handles the entire smaller home with no problems. It is amazing with the light that spotlights the dust and particles on the floors! Captures the fine dust particles that proves your home isn’t as clean as you might have thought. Long lasting battery with three levels of cleaning.

I have owned several Dyson previously so I realize their products are well made, the Outsize Absolute does not disappoint. There is only one thing about this vacuum I don’t like….the bin is too big. Other than that it is awesome. I love the two batteries and the two different floor attachments as well as the others. The reason I don’t care for the very large bin size is it prohibits you from getting in smaller spaces and furniture. I find that I use this Dyson daily since it’s so easy to grab in...

Dust Buster!!!

I just received this Tuesday and so far I like it. I told myself if I didn’t have a life changing moment, I would return it for the price of this thing. Great vacuum

This is a great vacuum I think people need to vacuum every other day if they have many pets. Empty bucket sooner than later depending on the mess you are cleaning up. It is not the vacuums fault because you are not aware of clogging or build up. It is a tool so respect it. It is not a shop vacuum either so figuring that out ok. Love it

Great vacuum. Many attachments to cover all my needs. Very useful display. Automatically adjusts to different floors. Easy to clean.

Like it, BUT...

I like the way it works on carpet a lot. On hard services it works well but it doesn't pick up some bigger sized items. Wish it came with a soft roll brush. I have that with my Dyson V7 and love to use that on hard services. The major flaw that I see is in the design of the attachment to the body of the machine. It attaches right where you empty the canister and this puts a lot of stress on that latch which allows dirt to fall out.

Love the bin size and the auto mode

We have 3 cats, a dog, and a toddler. This vacuum is perfect for getting all that fur, dander, and miscellaneous puffs out of our rug and off the hard floors. We love that we don't have to switch the head between the two, or empty the bin until we are done vacuuming.

Big and heavy

I was given this Outsize model as an exchange of my previous regular v11 which was defective and no stock was available to replace it with the same model. I've been a Dyson costumer for years. I owned the Dyson ball, V8, V10, V11, V12 my wife has the air wrap and the blow dryer and I also have Dyson fans. I'm a big fan of their products but this outsize model is big, heavy and useless for regular home cleanings the more I use the more I hate it.

Lightweight and cordless...makes for easy transition from room to room.

Easy to use

I am 81. Fall easily. Needed a vac without a cord to trip over. I didn't have to sacrifice quality for safety. I get both in this unit. It cleans exceptionally well. Came with two batteries so I am never without power. I vac more often because it is so easy to access, vac, clean, and put away. I love it.
