The Laser is Great!

I had a V11 that I gave to my son. The V15 shows a lot of improvements since the V11. I'm impressed with the green laser and how it lights the floor (much to my dismay). I had no idea how much dirt there was there. The V15 is like a dry Swifter for the floor. Improvements still needed: Light on the carpeting head. Switch to hold the vacuum on instead of trigger. Overall, I'm pleased but it's still to early to see if the parts reliability/availability issue has been addressed by Dyson

Best for Hardwood Floors

We have hardwood floors throughout our house and the Dyson V15 is the best for cleaning all the dust and pet hair. This is the first battery operated vac we have owned and so far the greatest. Don't know why we waited so long to purchase one. Well worth the money.

Appreciate power and manuverability

I use this unit for whole house cleaning. All hardwood floors and area rugs. Works well. Only negative for me...the on/off trigger can't be locked into an on position. An issue for aging hands. Otherwise, even though I have no pets, a good tool for cleaning.

Best handheld vacuum on the market

Dyson is one of the top name brands I think of when I want to buy a high-quality product that I know will last a long period of time and continue to maintain its functionality. After the V7, I finally came to the conclusion that I needed to upgrade my device and this is the product that I chose. Coming from my previous handheld vacuum, this product is a significant upgrade in all aspects i.e., size of canister, battery, automatic sensing, dust detection with a laser...etc.. Don't ignore this pro...

Love my Dyson v15!!!

Upgraded from a v10 to a v15. Glad I did! You won’t be disappointed. Long battery life, great suction, extra features like the light etc. all make this a great cordless vac.

LOVE my Dyson V15 Detect

Super easy to set up. The amount of suction is fabulous. Not difficult at all to use daily if necessary. It is obvious the battery life reduces significantly going from tile floor to plush carpet. Makes sense though, it has to work harder. So glad I bit the bullet and purchased this.

Exceptional product

I absolutely recommend this vacuum!! 1st off, I have 2 dogs, and the amount of pet hair this wonderfully designed machine is able to pick up is beyond my comprehension. It has a laser light that shows the debris that you miss. The only downside, is the battery life. This is my only complaint. Other than that, this is well designed, light weight, and easy to use.

Wonderful power and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had 3 Dyson stick vacuums. This one is the best so far. The light is a great feature to see items on my dark floors. Good setting to boost power. Easy to maneuver. I hope the battery lasts- my last two did not hold a charge after continued use every day.

an amazing machine with one small flaw

we love everything about the dyson v15 detect, we only wish there was a trigger lock on the power trigger.

Powerful

Love this new version detect 15 it’s so much more powerful and collects way more dirt and dust. Sucks way better as well and you can hear it. I had the 10 prior and it seems like a huge difference so far.

Definitely happy to have purchased

I liked this vacuum so much I bought one for my son. First use I was shocked at the level of dirt it picked up. Second use same thing. Third use I was happy that while it continues to have phenomenal suction my house is clearly much cleaner. We have continued to experience significantly higher levels and belief our home is cleaner.

Some adjusments

The dock of the machine have two slots to place the accesories but they are too close to the wall and bend the bristles if you try to put like a brush also I only receive a bag to keep the attachments, it would be nice that you offer another dock or something to keep the attachments in place The dock for the wall doesn't have a channel to place the cord in and it keeps moving I need to move it manually to adjust it but in general the machine is great

I had been wanting a Dyson vacuum cleaner for a while and finally got it! I am very pleased with it and it works well.

Actually I already have 4 dyson corded vacuums in my house, the oldest one in the garage(18 years), the small one at the backyard deck (13 years), The other two ball animal2 for upper leave and basement (almost 9 years) they all working good. I have the faith for dyson's products.

Amazing!!

This vacuum is a feat of engineering!! Long lasting battery, the auto-detection of dust, the attachments are all great. The suction is SOOO powerful, I've been hitting areas that I've been vacuuming with my old vacuum and the fine dust that it picks up that I was missing is wild. I used to have an Animal V6 and emptying that dust container was a pain, this one is so much easier to empty.

Lightweight

I received this as a gift and love it immensely. Very easy to use and picks up terrific so far. Only had is for under a month. At this time, I recommend it highly.

Expensive For A Reason

The performance has honestly surprised me in many ways its cleaned my carpets so good that is literally sucked up sand I never knew was there. (I work in the desert) It has very strong suction its amazing. My only complaint would be bin size but its so easy and fast to empty its not much of an inconvenience. It has also help with my allergies its just a game changer for sure. 10/10

Best vacuum ever. Worth every penny.

I live with two dogs and two cats. And a seven-year-old son. On top of that, I'm a dirty cyclist / mountain biker. I use this vacuum multiple times per week and enjoy the experience every single time. Rogue kibble, fur, dirt, dust, kitty litter. Nothing stands a chance. Plus, it has a laser! Can't recommend this enough.

I wanted to like it more!

Have had the Dyson v15 now for a month. I love the cordless feature and how lightweight it is. Unfortunately, I don't think the suction is what I had expected and the the bin fills up very fast and the filter needs cleaning often. It feels like a lot of work to maintain it. Am now using it for daily spot cleaning vs. serious whole house cleaning which seems to make more sense for me.
