Nice but limited in use
Would RecommendI have for years been frustrated with the effort it took to change drums on the old style “screw type” sanding head so when I saw this I was excited. However, in use, the drum tends to ride up on the inner rubber wheel and will fly off unless I stop the tool and push the drum back down. Just a little frustrating.

Would Not RecommendI was just as excited as anyone to finally have an easier way to change the sanding disc. imagine my disappointment when I found the disc walking off the tool immediately upon use. I thought I used too much pressure, tried a different angle; all to no avail. I'm unsure if I merely got a bad one, or if the people that like this tool got a rare good one.

Would RecommendSeriously, I use my Dremel tool quite often as I build scenery and little things for the O-Scale Layout (trains) and this is something I've used a LOT since then (these little sanding bits are great for that purpose). I've been trying to find the smaller diameter Sanding Bits, but they seem to be much harder to come across lately. These bits do last for a while, I've just had to change the sanding band.

Dremel quick change drum sander
Would RecommendI've only had this for a short time but love it. It is so much faster to change grit or replace worn drum paper. It is so fast to change compare to the older method. Now my wife can change them out easily for her crafts too. I wish they had this years ago. Great tool and addition to Dremel bits.
