What Customers Are Saying
The Dremel MM485 Carbide Flush Cutting Blade received mixed reviews. Many users found it effective for cutting through various materials like wood, drywall, and some metals, praising its speed and durability. However, some reported the blade dulled quickly when used on tougher materials like steel, rebar, and plaster. A few were disappointed it did not outperform cheaper non-carbide options. Overall, the blade appears suitable for general-purpose cutting tasks, but may not be the best choice for heavy-duty or prolonged use on very hard materials.

Would Not RecommendCutting a single screw has destroyed these completely. I thought it was the was I was using them and tried another time, and another. No, they simple wear immediately. I've used non carbide blades that have lasted many times longer. Simply put, do not buy.
Product works well compliments the wood blades
Would RecommendNeeded a metal cutting blade to go with the original set, works well.
Trash, wears too quickly
Would Not RecommendGot this to cut nails out of my concrete subfloor. It got through EIGHT (8!) nails before there were no teeth left and it was junk. That's $2.50/nail. Don't waste your money on this product.
Novice Use didn't tear it up...lol
Would RecommendI was loaned this blade. It had already been used. I had used the blades that came with the tool and they weren't doing anything for my wall removal (don't ask). I put this on and it cut through the plaster, sandy stuff, metal wire stuff under the plaster so quickly that I finished the kitchen and moved into the dining room!!! Later that week, I needed to remove some old screws from a concrete floor and ZIP off they went. Later on I was told by the guy who loaned it to me that I should be moving...
Expensive, works, doesn't last long
Would RecommendThese blades work great but do not last long.

Good for nails
Would RecommendI used it on a Harborfrieght multi-function tool. I went through two Harborfreight blades and I could not cut one single nail. This Dremel cut through four nails in no time and it looks like nothing happened. I cut some wood with it too. It was $20, compared to $10 for the cheap Harborfrieght junks, but it is totally worth it. I should have spent my money better in the first place.

Great for flush cutting Base Boards
Would RecommendUsed this it cut out old base boards trough out our house and remove a wall in an closet to enlarge it. This blade easily cut thu lots of old southern pine which is a rather hard old growth hard wood and it's still sharp!

Universal???
Would RecommendI didn't find this to really be a universal fit. The two tabs near the inner radius prevent it from mounting on a Dewalt OT. Think it can be modified easily enough in about 5 minutes with a die grinder though.

Great cutting bit
Would RecommendLove my Multi-Max tool! Purchased this blade as others were getting pretty dull. Used to cut hole for an electrical connection box. Did a fine job getting through the 2x10. You do have to be a little patient. It will not cut like a skill saw but you can make nice smooth even cuts with this tool.

Most durable blade ever
Would RecommendGreat blade, but cost more than my oscillating multi-tool (purchased at a discount tool store). I guess the tool was a loss leader to get you to buy the expensive blades (where the company is actually making their real profit). Wish it also came with coarser, more aggressive teeth for sawing wood faster.

Best Blades I've Used
Would RecommendThe bottom line is that these are the longest lasting blades I've used and I've probably used all the major brands. Though I've found my saw to be indispensible to make cuts I can't do any other way, other blades I'd tried seemed to dull very quickly; the steel was far too soft. These carbide blades maintain good cutting for much much longer. I've simply not had the experience that other reviews shared about these blades. They're simply the best, though I wish they were cheaper. So I hope other ...
Indestructible
Would RecommendUsed mine for more than a year. Cut through everything including cut nails, hardened steel screws! Hardwood soft woods, treated lumber - it does the job. It finally needs to be replaced and I will buy another. Pricey but worth it....
Best blade yet!
Would RecommendHave used to cut nails, bolts, PVC, wood, and it hasn't stopped yet.

Good concept - not as tough as thought should be.
Would Not RecommendNice idea. Carbide plating is tough in machine tools. Used to cut 2 1/4-20 bolts. Lost teeth 2/3 way through 1st screw. Was able to finish off second screw. Better value would have been 3 blade pack at same price of this clearance blade.

Bathroom Renovation
Would RecommendThese blades are very time saving when renovating a bathroom, I removed everything down to the studs to find any damage, I removed the first layer of plywood flooring due to water damage in 2 spots. these blades helped cutting where other saws would not, great for cutting nails too
