No dragging or skipping across my project and no 'spurs' as you may find with cheap bits. I really put some pressure on these bits and they held up - no breaking or distortion. Good quality Dremel product. I would like to see Dremel stamp the bit # on each bit because trying to match each bit with the picture ...

Another useful kit

Bits for engraving on wood, glass, PVC, and metal are included in a nice compact case. The included instructions detail which attachment to use on various materials, which is helpful to new users. Highly recommended.

Easy To Use Engraver Tips!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a professional engraver by any stretch but these new tips in the Engraving/Carving kit are very nice. I easily engraved my name on a metal tactical flashlight and its smooth to the touch. I also etched on some hard plastic and I routed a notch out of a piece of wood with precision. This will definitely come in handy around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the micro carving and engraving kit from Dremel and this is a great deal with 12 tools included to use with Dremel tool. It comes inclosed with instructions to ensure you use the correct tool for the type of engraving/carving you are attempting to do. I am going to try this out with some wood slices I recently obtained from Arteza. Look for upcoming video to show live how well these tools perform.

Super adaptable kit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't draw a stick figure - no artistic talent. So I thought. I used carbon paper to act as a guide for engraving a large plain picture frame with flowers, stems, and leaves. The engraving attatchments worked beautufully. My wife was very impressed. I plan to try carving small figures for Christmas ornaments. No noticable wear and no burning for a first timer. I'm very excited with the new projects I can try now!

Great for engraving and detail carving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great kit for engraving and detail carving. I'm a wood worker and use my Dremel rotary often for detail work. With 11 different carving and engraving accessories this kit will get a lot of use. The tips also work well with plastic, stone, metal and glass so it should serve the needs of any artist or crafter. I use the carving tips with the flex shaft accessory on my Dremel rotary tool so I can get better control for detail work.

Great all-around carving and grinding set

I was able to trace a design on some wood, and with the combination fo the medium-sized and larger bits, made short work of the job. I then took some of the smaller bits and gave them a spin on some glass I had around.
