Not as heavyweight as described.
These are nice. Not as great as the other Duck carpenter pants though, the relaxed fit sanded carpenter pants. Calling these heavyweight when they are lighter feeling duck than the others is misleading. They just seem to lack that classic weight. As well they have less pockets than the others. The pants are good daily drivers for warmer temps though so I’m stoked to have them for the spring.

Tough work pants that are built right
I’ve been wearing these for ten years. Very durable, comfortable and worth the money. If you’re a tradesman and need pants that will last this is your best option.

Lost the magic.
Materials for thinner and the relaxed fit is not relaxed. It is more like skinny jeans. They changed their pattern and quality. If I wear these pants I will split out the crotch. Disappointed after 20 years of wearing Dickies.
