Dickies pants are well made but usually run a bit small in size. I always purchase 1 size larger than I normally wear. The heavyweight carpenter jeans are very stiff and this makes them a little uncomfortable until they are washed several times. However, after own several pair, they do get more flexible and comfortable after they have been wore and washed for a while. They are durable work pants and last.

Not sized properly
I have to return two pairs of these pants due to them being improperly sized. I ordered 32 sized waist and they wouldn’t fit me and were far too small. The third pair I had ordered (different style of pants) were the same size (32 waist) and fit perfectly. The difference between the pants are where the pants are manufactured. One made in Nicaragua the other made in Mexico.

Defective
I ordered a 32x34 and the waist was extremely too small so returned to get another pair because we thought they were defective and they were also extremely too small in the waist. Returned this and got 34x34 and the waist fit perfect like an original 32 and the legs were super baggy almost like parachute pants. We’ve ordered other colors in the 32x34 and they were perfect . So I feel like I wasted my time returning them and wasted our money bc they can’t be worn. They’re defective.

Big guy. Good fit.
I'm a fat guy. (5'11", 315lbs). Since I have a big gut, I wear my pants below my gut, so my pants tend to sit lower than my hips a bit. It's tough to find pants in a 46W that have a slightly shorter crotch to accommodate this. These pants fit great through the waist and thighs on me. My only complaint is that they don't come in a shorter inseam. Due to my pants being worn lower, my inseam (which probably should be 30-32 at my height) is closer to 26-28. Great work pants
I am glad I purchased the online. I can no longer find them in the stores. These are the only ones that I can find that are the correct size, the fit is great and the durability is highly recommended. I need my work pants to last, and these absolutely do last. Great product and fit.
