annoying "thumping" sound

As with other reviews, annoying "thumping" sound and sprayer is weak. Replaced our 12 year old Delta faucet due to hard water issues. Purchased the closest model to what we had. Thumps when you turn on the water, sometimes switching from cold to hot. When trying to use the sprayer, the thump starts and a weak flow of water comes out. Disappointed - Wish I never purchased

This product had made clicking noise and drips from the moment it was installed. I had the faucet professionally installed and the issue is the product. I will be calling your company today to hopefully get a replacement - which will cost me more money to install. I had the previous faucet for 10 years from your competitor - wish I had never changed. Thumping sound when turning on

We just purchased this nice product. It was easy to install. However, one we started using it, if you do not turn on the water slowly, the sprayer makes a thumping sound. It is very annoying because you can't turn on the water normally without the horrible sound.

poor hot/cold blending

Could not get this faucet to gradually blend hot & cold for warm water. It was hot for almost all of one side and cold for almost all of the other side, and if you could find the perfect tiny spot right in the middle, then you got warm.

Cheap, deteriorated before too long

I purchased this faucet less than 4 years ago. At first, it performed very well and looked very good. But over time, things started to go wrong. First, the base of the spout started to leak where it rotates on the housing. Not a big deal, but it shouldn't leak at all. Second, the whole fixture started to wobble front to back, and I had to periodically tighten the nuts underneath securing it. Thumps 1-3 times when turned on

I just had a plumber install this faucet yesterday. Whenever the faucet is turned on after not having it on for 10 minutes or more, it produces 1-3 thumps. I could live with the noise but I am afraid that the resulting vibration may cause future problems. I have Foundations Single Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray, model # B3310LF. From reading other reviews, this seems like a design flaw.

Works well except...

...for an annoying "thumping" sound that occurs whenever the faucet is turned on. We like the finish and traditional design.

Easy Install

Went in fast and easy, no leaks now I can go fishing !

Annoying knocking noise when using faucet.

The operation of the faucet is smooth and installation was easy however when first using the faucet after not being used in a while there is an single knocking sound. I flushed the supply lines and replaced the diverter following the instructions of Delta however the noise persists. My conclusion is there is an inherent design flaw in this model and it should be avoided unless the knocking noise does not bother you.

Former plumber. Nice to know the quality of your faucets hasn't changed, great. Installed many delta 100's & 300's during my career.

This model has the unfortunate habit of "thumping" when turned on. It must be some sort of pressure equalization defect, because the "thumping" soon stops.

Loud thumping noise when in use,

This faucet makes a thumping sound when in use, sounds like the diverter valve opening and closing. Water drips from the spray head when it makes the noise. I thought maybe there was air trapped in the faucet somewhere but can't get it to stop. Very annoying. If it continues I will have to replace this faucet. Also the baseplate is barely large enough to cover the holes in the sink and the supply tubes are very small diameter and short. The existing supply lines just made it.

Good product..BUT.....

Simple faucet swap.Wife loves the satin finish. All went good except this "thumping" noise from the diverter valve. "put up with it" but got worse as it's been about a year now. Wife say's IT gets fixed or else.

Nice Faucet

I installed it myself (amateur 68 years old) and had absolutely no problems. It took about an hour including removing the stubborn old faucet. I took the shortcut of using faucet connection hoses. The faucet looks great and performs perfectly. My wife likes its stainless steel finish and says it blends in well with the stainless steel sink. Model B4410LF-SS

Excellent faucet

A great faucet for the money. Very easy to install. The faucet worked very well, but made a "thud, thud" sound when was turned on. Sounded to me as the diverter valve shifting with water pressure. I contacted Delta "customer service" by e-mail & they promptly mailed me a new diverter valve with instructions. The noise still occurred after replacement. Nice looking classic look.

When you first turn on, I sometimes here a thump sound. Also the faucet seems not to be sturdy. Even though it is tight on the sink.

Works ok.....now

I had a professional install my faucet....good thing because it dripped when shut off. If I had taken the fixture back to the store, They probably would have said I didn't install it correctly. After the installer made a 2nd trip, the 2nd worked fine

The name Delta says it all!

I like all the features and the best part is no leaking!
