These particular water lines were CPVC, so we couldn't screw the new parts straight in, but re-gluing them went alright, with new cpvc adapters. I like the spray from the included shower head. It's less noisy than what we had with one of those slim-line "water-saver" types before. Never much noticed that loud "wheesh" sound in the past, until I put up the new fixture and the noise was gone. The hot/cold mixture setting on the cartridge was easy to dial ...
