Love my new touchless tap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In general I am pretty happy with this product, it was my long term dream but I couldn't afford it. Now I enjoy it in full! My husband installed it pretty quick because package included everything we needed for installation. The tap has stylish design and high quality components. I still need to figure out how sensors work, because sometimes it's super sensitive, sometimes it needs couple touches. Pull down hose doesn't really goes back itself...

Installation was not too difficult (per my husband), you do need a little bit of space under the sink for the battery pack, so if you have alot under the sink already, you may need to rearrange. Touch IQ works good, almost too good, I need to decrease the sensitivity. The sink needs to be turned on for the touch to work, for some reason I didn't think of that, but it's helpful during meal prep when going back an...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Delta Essa Touchless Kitchen Pull Down faucet to try out. I can’t wait to have a touchless faucet as the one I currently have gets a lot of wear and tear, and can get pretty grimy with kids always being filthy and touching things, so this should help :) It comes with everything you need for hookup, including batteries. Delta hit a home run here!

Miss the removable aerator...

Please bring back the removable aerator. This is my second Delta faucet. The quality of Delta is wonderful. I love the look and feel of the Essa faucet. My only complaint with my Essa faucet is that I cannot take out the aerator. We have mildly hard water, with a small amount of sediment. This is no problem when you can remove the aerator, which we usually do about every 2 months. We have had the Essa faucet 3 months and have had to remove the head nearly ever day to "tap" it out (nothing comes ...

Modern faucet great design… leaking in 6 months

I had this faucet installed less than 6 months ago and got a leak. The booklet provided with the faucet was for a different model. Now I’m trying to find the part number to order the Valve Cartridge… but not even the website shows me the part. I love Delta and have many of their products in my home….and haven’t had any issues before now.

Water spills all over the place

This was installed by the builder in my new home and unfortunately, whenever I open the tap, water spills all over the place on the countertop around the sink. When spoken to the builder, they replied that is how this product works. I had a Moen kitchen faucet in my earlier home, never had this issue and the water flow was much smoother. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product.

Excellent Faucet

Only had this faucet installed for a week now but we love it so far.It operates very smoothly and there are no leakes.

Easy install

I had purchased a cheaper faucet of this type several years ago. We loved it, but it didn't last. I guess the "you get what you pay for" was true. This time we made the smart decision and purchased a Delta based on our past experience and how well they hold up. The install was easy and it works perfectly. Great purchase!

I bought this back in December to replace my 1993 leaky kitchen faucet. I'm so happy I did.

Didn’t last 6 months

Just moved into a brand new house last summer and while I have been pleased with this faucet, the inside mechanisms are plastic and the handle is already malfunctioning. I’ve done my best to remove the handle and clean/grease the mechanism, but it is stuck and grinding with every use. The price should warrant better craftsmanship/quality.

Wouldn't think of getting anything else.

This is the second custom home I had built for me. Started with Moen in the house built in 2004. When the faucet broke, it was replaced with the Delta Essa and I love it. The new custom home that we just moved into has 2 of these faucets: one in the kitchen and one in the laundry room The builder was pushing Kohler but I put my foot down and insisted on the faucet(s) that I knew I loved. I'm very happy that I won that argument.

Easy installation and looks great.

Odd angle

I just had this faucet installed a few days ago. It looks beautiful and has strong water pressure. I like that it has two simple options: spray or stream. The faucet head stays locked in place well. My problem is with the angle of the water flow. I have a decent size sink—16 inches front to back, much wider left to right—and yet because the water shoots forward so far, it almost hits the front edge of my sink when it’s turned on all the way. I’m finding it awkward to wash dishes. I’m disappointe...

Great quality faucet, best we’ve ever had!

I installed this faucet last evening myself (female over 60!). Easy except for small area under sink to move around. Need 2nd person to hold faucet while screwing nuts under sink. I love it! The water pressure is much higher, sprayer has regular and spray feature, and I eliminated old separate cheap sprayer, covered with matching sink hole cap. Solid, and looks really nice with brushed finish.
