Would RecommendThis camera provides excellent picture. Human detection works well. Definitely this is the best of Defender Guard cameras. I do have complains about entire cameras family (like absence of PoE, non-weather proof power supply and need to use outlet, limitation to watch in app only, poor integration to smart home etc.) but if we agree with all these limitations this is very good camera overall.

I am currently a police officer and formerly Iran a security business dealing in surveillance systems for businesses primarily. I sold and installed the surveillance systems. Great cameras but app needs an update.
I love the cameras themselves, but the app only works on Android phones and tablets, and they haven't updated it since 2019. Sometimes the app will just close for no reason. I tried building a VM on my Windows 2010 laptop with various versions of Android, but the Defender app will not start up. Please update the app to be more compatible.
