Would RecommendBought the non-manufacture's cartridge puller to replace a leaking cartridge in the shower valve. The fixture was 18 years old and I wasn't sure who the manufacturer was. It looked like Moen so I called their customer service and talked to an exceptionally nice rep. Sent them two photos via email while I was on the phone, they confirmed that it was a Moen and said it was guaranteed. Took my name, address, etc. and in about a week a new cartridge was delivered. Would RecommendWorking on a faucet installed 10+ years ago, the cartridge puller was the only way I could find to remove the old cartridge.
Effective at pulling a stuck cartridge in minutes
Would RecommendWorked well after struggling to get cartridge out with pliers unsuccessfully. Wish it threaded onto cartridge with a few more threads, but ultimately it worked. You will need the plastic insert over the cartridge that comes with the new cartridge. Only took 5 minutes to get cartridge out once i had this tool.
