Would RecommendI used it to stop a leak on my furnace humidifier. The compression connections were leaking before using this grease. After taking all of the connections apart and putting the grease on the compression joints the leaks stopped completely. It is very ease to use and with the squeeze tupe you can get the right amount out and keep the rest for another project.

Always grease the "O" rings that you are replacing
Would RecommendReplaced a faucet cartridge and greased the "O" rings of the unit before installing. This grease is waterproof so it helps the "O" rings achieve a better seal and keeps them from stress twisting when being inserted into a tight space. Never insert dry "O" rings because it will cause small surface frays that in the future are subject to leak and /or break.
