Would RecommendWe own a 200-year old house with a stone foundation and a dirt floor. By its nature it's always a damp basement. Damp-Rid alone won't cure the moisture problem, but we find that a dehumidifier in conjunction with a couple buckets of Damp-Rid keeps the basement from getting musty and smelly.
