Easy peasy

This was the simplest part of my french drain project by far. I thought I would have to get all complex with unrolling fabric, and using ground staples to hold in place, but then I found this. I was amazed at how easy it was to put on over 100ft of tubing. No mess, literally simplest part of the job. I put it on before putting the tubing down, then cut with scissors where I knew I would cut the tubing. I was able to stretch it enough to tuck in into the attachment to keep it in place.

This is a "Must Have" for a French Drain installation. Keeps the holes clear and the water flowing! Make sure to install over pipe.

The sleeve is very easy to install on the drain pipe if you use the cardboard that the sleeve is on. By folding the cardboard into a box shape, insert the pipe in and slide through picking up the sleeve.

Terrible design

What a poor design. The flat cardboard sleeve is supposed to open up for a square opening that slides over the drain pipe. I bought 2 of these. The cardboard on both of them has a crease running down the middle of one of the sides. This bends to the inside of the opening making it impossible to slide over the drain pipe. I struggled with it trying to make the crease fold the other way. It was impossible. What a waste of time and effort.
