Would RecommendI purchased the combo saw kit (saw, 8AH battery, charger, blade and bag) today and immediately put it to the tests. Very smooth cutting through 3/4" plywood and different hardwood material but was a bit sluggish cutting through 2X8 material. I suspect that may have been due to the general purpose blade included in the kit. I plan to purchase another blade tomorrow. I would have preferred the kit to include a cutting guide but can easily adapt one for my needs. Tested it using multiple siz...
Decent adjustability and weight for cordless.
Would RecommendBlade guide makes it easy to understand which way the blade should be mounted, guide book has decent instructions for what each component does, saw seems powerful without being too heavy. Guard will smack into your hand if you are not careful when you are mounting the blade. There is a feature to disable the lock as well, but I am scared to use it at this point. The saw's angle and depth adjustability is also a plus.

Would RecommendI went with the MAX for the brush-less and the 7 1/2 inch blade, figuring I could cover more jobs with this than the smaller option. So far it has worked well. The 20-volt battery pack was powerful enough to get through solid wood doors I trimmed down easily. I have yet to run out of charge on a project either. What I love most is how lightweight and easy to maneuver this saw is. Can't believe I worked with my old corded saw for so long.
