lighter than I expected
Would RecommendI expected it to be much heavier with the battery, but the 12v battery is compact. The ratchet is rated at 60 foot pounds, so it's probably not up to heavy usage, but still, a nice tool to have if you can get a deal on it. I received this as a free add on to a drill/driver set.

Max torque about 40 ft-lbs, not 60
Would Not RecommendHave had a non-brand cordless ratchet (rated at 40 ft-lbs) but after yrs of use its unique battery lasts only 10 mins and it is expensive to replace. I thought to upgrade to this ratchet and found it does not have enough power to untie bolts that are torqued above 40 ft-lbs. The specs of this unit are shown as 60 ft-lbs, which is not true with what I got. I tested the torque with an accurate, manual torque-meter I have had for many years.
