A big let down

I purchased this item at my local lowe's store because it was on sale. I already own the exact same impact driver and hammer drill. I went to buy batteries and decided to get this kit instead- so I'd retire my old 18v saws that way I'd have only one battery system to take with me. The hammer drill and impact driver are excellent. I've had this set for over 5 years now and was a carpenter at the time so there were all used and abused still holding up great awesome product

Great Tool kit!

I bought this to replace a Kobalt kit. This kit has some great tools that are strong in performance. The circular saw cuts extremely well. The Hammer drill is awesome! I have drilled in concrete blocks, and patio floor with it, and it is very strong. I would highly recommend this kit! batteries perform well, and are very light.

Waited a year to write review

Ok I have these tools for over a year now and have had no problems with any of them. I work in construction and have used them on a daily basis for multiple purposes. My favorite two are the 1/2 in Hammer drill, 1/4 in impact driver. I bought this set for the 3.0 ah battery packs for extended use and be recharged in 1 hour. I recently upgraded from my Porter Cable 18v NiCd tools. My Porter Cable tools got me through a whole house renovation and a 1600 sq ft addition that we put on our house, as well as countless other small jobs over the years. But now that they've upgraded to the 20v system, tools and batteries were hard to find. Everything I would expect from Dewalt, however I'm a little disappointed in the battery life, especially when using the reciprocating saw. Probably has nothing to do with the fact I'm using a 10" demolition blade on it. Also takes a little long to charge the battery, however the quick charge batteries also don't hold a charge as long.

Worth the value

Have been using an impact at work on wind turbines for 8 years now and it's still going strong, have only replaced the batteries.

5 tool combo kit , free Dewalt grinder was missing

I was really excited when I got this product because it was on sale and they were also supposingly giving a "Free DEWALT 20-Volt Cordless Angle Grinder when you buy this DEWALT 5-Tool 20-Volt Combo Kit. Free item added to cart at purchase.." I was little bit disappointed when I came to know that they were not honoring the free dewalt 20V grinder with the purchase :(. I wish they would honor what they are advertising.

I tried other brands and they just couldn't stand up to the needs on the job site and the battery life was horrible. I purchased this set of Dewalt from lowes and hands down it has not even began to stop amazing me yet. The power is there when you need it , time and time again and the battery life is the top of its game. I am a dewalt man hands down from now on.
