Best tool set for beginners

I recently bought a house that has a lot of projects and this tool/combo kit has been my best friend. From drilling holes in the wall to mount to tv, to securing a garage door. Even put up a couple shelves and replaced the kitchen blinds. Tools are my go to, the power is always right and battery last forever. I love that everything came inside of a nice bag. Whenever I’m working on a project I just grab the bag and go.

We love the Drill's power and the worklight that comes on the head. Wish it had a hard case as the woven fabric will catch a lot of dust in the barn.

DeWALT sets the standard

I bought this to replace my aging DeWALT 18v tools that still run strong, but I wanted to get Lithium ion batteries and I was going to have to replace most of not all of the 18v NiCd batteries. The tools are great and assembled in the USA. Pretty awesome for the price. So far so good. I will update on durability down the road. Also, DeWALT makes a 20v to 18v adapter so I can still use my 18v tools as they get replaced over time. I have the adapter, but have not had time to try it yet.

Got this set on sale and well worth the money compared to other drills I've owned. The driver is a beast! Only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that the reciprocating saw is not quite as robust as I had hoped. It's fine for cutting through standard lumber, plywood, etc,; but not strong enough to tackle tough remodel/tear out work cutting through multiple materials, etc. All-in-all though, happy with the purchase. Drill, driver and battery packs were worth the price alone.

Only needed a saws all but it doesn’t come with battery buying both of them alone was more then purchasing this package deal

Don’t pass up

Great tools for the price, both drills have plenty of power and long battery life for all day use. Battery’s charge very fast. The work light has been very handy in low light areas. Be careful with Reciprocating saw remember it’s a tool not a toy.
