Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly recommend, i use one daily on heavy equipment repair. No air hoses to drag around makes it nice. Battery life with a 5 amp hr battery is pretty good.

Great tool

Ago got the dewalt because already have drill and driver they been wonderful tools so since I done had 20 v batteries I got bare tool. This has made my job on the farm so much easier because have two tractors and a small back hoe have done put two full tubes of grease in gun. This thing is wonderful I can’t thank dewalt enough for making a wonderful line of tools. And would highly recommend this product.

very nice grease gun, should have purchased sooner

I purshased the model DCG571B grease gun one month now and no problems. It's better then my old one that was about 9 years old. I have been farming 43 yrs. and put though 6 tubes of grease,so far, have used it on days of 20 degree F temps.with NO Problems. I seen the reviews of removing the screen ahead of the pump so I took my out before using it, I also buy and keep the grease clean before using it. This also was my first gun to have a screen there? Great for arthritis

I bought this about a month ago to use for my tractor with a frontend loader and backhoe attachment all having about a million grease fittings (not really, but quite a few). After using the handpump type grease gun and having bad arthritis, I figured there has to be a better way. Good but needs a feature

I bought a kit with the grease gun and split the kit up with my stepson for Christmas gift for him. I like the grease gun, works well, like the battery life and ability to use in other tools I have. I have another chordless greasegun from another manufacture. The feature I like on that one is two speeds, one slow, and one fast. This allows to just squeeze the trigger and get 2 to 4 pumps of grease out for thing that don't need large volumes of grease. Just pulling the trigger on the Dewalt puts ...

Good - could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the battery operated grease gun because I am slightly disabled and getting the grease gun nozzle on the zerk and then pumping the lever on the grease guns was difficult. With this grease gun I can get the nozzle locked on the zerk and just pull the trigger and the grease is dispensed. useless grease gun

I cannot get a more than a trace of grease to come through the hose. no grease has come through the air bleed . when I pull on the rod to rehook the rod to the slot in the end cap all the grease spews out of the rod hole. i have held the trigger on for twenty minutes at a time. Rediculous

moves grease quickly, seems a little weak when it comes to rusty or dirty zerks.

Decent grease gun

I bought this grease gun about a year ago. It never pumped grease very fast, and it finally quit. I figured I wasn’t out anything, so I took it apart and found a very fine screen that wouldn’t let #2 grease through. The best thing I did was to cut that fine screen out and put the gasket back in. Now it pumps like crazy and made it a way better grease gun.

Get's the Job Done

I purchased this product when I started working as a heavy equipment mechanic. It has made that work far easier than with my old manual grease gun. In addition, I used this tool as a crewman on an M1A1 tank, and it was the envy of the company. It made jobs such as setting track tension significantly easier than they normally are with the USGI grease guns, and this tool survived getting thrown around in tank sponson boxes, dropped 10ft+ off of turrets (not intentionally) and kept going. Best buy for the price

I simply got tired of the pneumatic grease guns and air hoses getting tangled when i want to grease a tractor chassis. I'm very satisfied with this gun. It works great, powerful, and very easy to use. It may feel heavy when you're using it for a long period of time, but you get use to it.
