Will not stand the test of time

Good but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used these before from friends and all worked great. Mine worked perfect out of the box. No problems whatsoever for probably 3 or 4 tubes of grease. Now it air locks every time you change tubes. Not hard to fix but extremely frustrating. Cat skidsteer takes a cartridge and a half of grease. Other than that it pumps through tight fittings really well and the battery lasts for several services.

I have several excellent DeWalt tools. This grease gun is crap. I lose half a tube of grease every time I try to use it. I finally had to leave the plunger rod extended out and still lose 1/4 tube of grease. Veery disappointed. Service center in Houston is impossible to talk to...

Great grease gun, but dont buy the model at $230!
Would RecommendI liked the product for greasing my backhoe. The grease fittings have always been partially clogged and forced me to use a hammer and finishing nail to open them up. This gun filled 41 of the 43 fittings with minimal issues! Was a pleasure to use! Would RecommendI bought mine from a mac tools truck about 6/7 years ago and it still works great. I have used it on cars and diesel semis. However did just start leaking from grease nippel and the flashlight doesn't help you much.

Would RecommendI have had this Grease Gun for at least three years and it still pumps grease faster than I can with a pump system. It will put grease in any grease fitting that you can get the grease head on. Plenty of power to drive the grease home. Not too heavy , easy to carry.
