Would RecommendThis cordless jig saw works great! Read directions on how to adjust the foot. I do recommend having at least one of the larger DeWalt batteries to use with this saw, it likes power.

Would RecommendBought it a while back and have used it many times. The jig saw performs well when cutting sheet metal from 24 to 16 gauge steel, various types of woods, and various wood thickness. One of my best purchases.

Would RecommendI purchased this saw at Lowe's in April 2019 and have used it on two projects now. It absolutely does the job. The variable speeds are tuned perfectly. I highly recommend this jigsaw. As with most Dewalt tools, you pay for the quality. A little more expensive, but worth every penny.

For a non brushless motor, this is a great saw. I use it for trim and flooring work and it holds up very well and the cuts are neat and clean. For the price it acts like a much more expensive saw. If I were to be needing it more often or using it for heavier projects I probably would step up to the XR but this is a great saw and I am impressed.
